Welcome to the Department of Economics of the University of Naples Federico  II. Our research encompasses all the core areas of microeconomics, macroeconomics, economic history and sociology.

The Department organizes two Master Programmes (MEF and CER) and the Doctoral Program in Economics. It it also hosts the journal "Studi Economici", the Historical Archives of Italian Economists (ASE) and the Center for Studies in Economics and Finance (CSEF).

The Department's Library has more than 60.000 books and subscribes to all major economic journals and working papers series. An IT Classroom is available for teaching and independent study.
